Communion from Hot House Video seems to fall victim to this, although the film doesn't suffer too badly from its misclassification. Although billed on some sites as a fetish or leather title, this manfest is all about macho sex among leather-clad guys. Filmed as a series of pseudo-mystical vignettes set in a mysterious temple, Communion features some outstanding sex, excellent production and editing, and a vaguely spooky Gregorian chant/triphouse soundtrack. The leather, however, is just so much costuming. The best scenes on this 2-disc set feature crowd pleasers Steve Cruz, Jason Ridge and Vinnie D'Angelo. In a scene with Francesco Damacho, Ridge nearly gets split in half by a thick rubber dong, then works his own piece into Damacho's meaty ass. The closeups are great here, with both actors enjoying some anal exploration. Later D'Angelo threeways with Cruz and sausage-dicked Matt Cole, with Cruz serving as the hungry, enthusiastic bottom. Suspended in front of D'Angelo, Cruz gets his furry ass tongued by Cole, then gets a pounding by both tops. Cole slides his fat pole balls-deep, then steps aside to let D'Angelo sink some skin all the way in, with a white splash finish all over Cruz' furry chest and face. Communion may not have a lot of BDSM as the classification might imply, but it is nonetheless an outstanding sex film filled with the usual Steven Scarborough directorial magic. |
