Greeting P(r)icksters,
This week I'm suffering a little "foot in mouth" disease. Planning out parties and events at the bar can be a real chore sometimes. Most of the time, I can work up a good idea for a party or repeat something that was a big hit with the crowd. Then there are times when it all just doesn't gel, and that's usually when time is a crunch.
Case in point, after the holidays, I am pretty much tied up putting things in place for the Mr Chicago Leather contest weekend that takes place at the end of January every year. Now I know I have the Super Bowl, Mardi Gras and our Mr Union Suit contest coming up right after that in February. These are no-brainers for me, and not much new to figure out.
But this is a Leap Year - you know, when February 29th rolls around every 4 years. And a leap day is pretty much an unusual day and I wanted to do something unusual to celebrate this unique day. An idea popped into my head in January and I ran with it, and put it on the calendar for this Saturday, February 29.
That idea?
I'm thinking this is one of those days when the rules don't apply, things can get turned around, anything can happen, roles can get reversed. So I named the party for this Saturday BOTTOMS UP!. We'll let the bottoms rule the day.
Now just what that would be was something I could figure out later; I was still concentrating on Mr Chicago Leather. No problem, we'll figure it out by then. The problem is, then is now and I still haven't got a clue as to what I will do this Saturday. Hence, the bad case of "foot in mouth."
I've been known to pull a rabbit out of my hat before. Last summer for our Mr Midwest Rubber contest weekend, I brought in judges from out of town, planned a full weekend of events, only to not get one person to enter the contest. No problemo, I cooked up an impromptu contest that night - no title, no prizes, no one will remember your name once it's over - and quickly got 5 guys on stage to compete.
So I am sure that by Saturday night, my fevered brain will cook up another crazy idea. I'm just hoping it will cook up something sooner rather than later. Besides, I'm still trying to line up what comes next in March and April. Guess my aged brain is becoming a slow cooker.
While I'm "stewing some thoughts," how about you grabbing my P(r)ick this Week. Since I have boys on my mind, let's start with Brian's Boys, a hot little treat from the Bijou Classics files. This full length sound feature from NOVA has a hot group of young guys in a garage working on everything but the car. Didn't think you'd mind.
Another choice for you this week has more problem boys that are Kept After School. This is another NOVA full length film and not a compilation of loops. The boys are cute and very horny. Maybe I should have received more detention time when I was in school.
I'll get back to you next week and let you know what happens this Saturday when I host Bottoms Up!
David
